Jimmy Cost: Hospitality Remains Paramount

Jimmy Cost is developing out of a simple idea: to foster synergism through a brand that invites creative visions and facilitates modes of expression, by serving guests, pizza. 


Jimmy’s time in hospitality has spanned thirty years; beginning at thirteen - with a workers permit as a host; through waiting tables and cooking the early morning shift at a breakfast joint, at sixteen; to a doorman at eighteen (enjoying the beauty of cash-money at the end of a shift). All while beginning a collegiate career at the University of New Mexico.


At twenty one, managed the security staff for one the busiest bars in Albuquerque, at that time. Throughout my twenties and thirties - as a bartender, manager and fine-dining team-member - the approach to hospitality has blossomed from constant practice and application of the “Golden rule.”


As a diligent researcher, farming, has opened doors to vast appreciation of local sustainability practices that continue to reinforce my targeted approaches to food, drink and hospitality.


Jimmy is a writer/poet, farmer and hospitality savant with a master's degree in Liberal Arts (MLSt) from Arizona State University: a throw back course of study to time immemorial - where the topics of importance centered around rhetoric, astronomy and music. 


Practice in the conscientious application of the “Golden Rule” will remain as the key component to success: treat others the way you would like to be treated - simply beautiful, just like the pizza.
